Full entertainment is lined up across Ekhaya FC this week, with Sunday at Kamuzu Stadium set to deliver a thrilling triple-header of league action.
From the kicking off midweek, to Cowboys headlining Sunday's triple header on their home return, here’s how this week look like across our setup.
THURSDAY
8AM Griffin Young Stars vs Ekhaya Youth
Our youngsters will open the week’s action with a midweek clash away to Griffin Young Stars on Wednesday morning, kicking off at 8:00 AM at Chilomoni Stadium.
The youth side has experienced a dip in form in recent weeks, drawing against CC Stars before suffering their first defeat of the season in a 3-2 loss to Ntopwa.
Despite the setbacks, they remain third on the table with 14 points from seven games, five points off the leaders.
The lads will be determined to respond strongly with a positive result to close the gap at the top.
Sunday
9:30AM- Ekhaya Women vs Fomo FC
Earlier in the day, the Cowgirls will be in action as they continue their push in the FAM Women’s Regional League.
Currently leading the standings but tied on points with Chitoliro FC, they will be eager to collect all three points to stay clear at the top.
Their opponents, Fomo FC, sit sixth on the table heading into this fixture. The match kicks off at 9:30 AM, setting the tone for what promises to be a busy day for Ekhaya football.
11AM- Ekhaya Reserves vs Liberty FC
Meanwhile our youngsters will also feature at Kamuzu Stadium on Sunday with their match scheduled for 11:00 AM against Liberty FC.
After suffering their third defeat of the season last time out, the defending ThumbsUp Southern Region Football League champions will be keen to bounce back and restore their four-point lead at the summit.
Liberty FC, who currently occupy 11th place with 16 points from 13 games, will be looking to cause an upset, but Autry Kalulu’s men will know the importance of this tie as they aim to stay clear of Mighty Wanderers Reserves in the race for top spot.
14:30PM- Ekhaya FC vs Mzuzu City Hammers
The Cowboys return to Kamuzu Stadium on Sunday as they resume TNM Super League action, following their exit from the FDH Bank Cup away to Moyale FC last weekend.
This will mark the start of their second-round campaign, with Enos Chatama’s charges welcoming Mzuzu City Hammers, a side they beat 3-1 in the reverse fixture.
Sitting fifth on the table with 26 points, Ekhaya will be eyeing maximum points to push their way back into the top four.
Fans will also get the chance to witness the long-awaited debut of forward Samuel Rukura, who is now fully cleared to play.
