Ekhaya Weekly| What Lies Ahead

Ekhaya Weekly| What Lies Ahead

The FIFA international break is behind us, and the return of domestic football brings plenty of action across the Ekhaya family.

Set to play are three of our teams, while the Reserves continue to enjoy a well-earned midseason break at the top of their league.

Here is how action unfolds across Ekhaya FC this week:

SATURDAY

2:30 PM | Mafco FC vs Ekhaya FC (TNM Super League – Champion Stadium, Dowa)

The Cowboys resume their debut TNM Super League campaign with an away trip to Mafco FC.

Unlike the strong first round, the boys have endured a tough restart, losing their opening two second-round fixtures.

Saturday is a chance to put things back on track against a side they narrowly defeated 1–0 at home in the reverse fixture.

SUNDAY

11:00 AM | Mighty Wanderers Youth vs Ekhaya U19 (Chilomoni Stadium)

Sunday morning serves up a top-of-the-table clash in the FCB Katswiri U20 League.

Our young guns, sitting 2nd with 22 points from 11 games, face league leaders Mighty Wanderers Youth, who are just two points ahead on 24.

A win would see Ekhaya Youth leapfrog the Nomads and take control of the title race.

MONDAY

2:30 PM | Ndirande Soccer Giants vs Ekhaya Women (FAM Women’s Regional League – Blantyre)

The Cowgirls will battle Ndirande Soccer Giants in what is a crucial fixture for both sides. Just two points separate them.

Giants sit 3rd with 12 points, while Ekhaya Women are 4th with 10 points, both having played the same number of games.

Victory could see our girls climb above their rivals in the standings.
