Plenty of action is in store across the Ekhaya setup this weekend, with all four of our sides set to play on Saturday.
Each team goes into their fixture with different but strict objectives. Here’s how the action lines up:
SATURDAY
09:30 AM: FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Youth vs Ekhaya Youth
(FCB Katswiri U19 League, Kamuzu)
It’s another top-of-the-table clash for our young guns. After falling to leaders Mighty Wanderers Youth last week, Mphatso Chihami’s boys now face Bullets Youth, another side in the top four. A win will be crucial for the second-placed juniors as they look to keep pace with the leaders.
2:30 PM Ekhaya FC vs Mafco FC
(TNM Super League – Champion Stadium)
Postponed last weekend, the Cowboys finally make the trip to Mponela to fulfill this fixture. The mission remains the same: bounce back after two straight defeats. In the reverse fixture, Ekhaya claimed a narrow 1–0 home win, can they do the double?
2:30 PM: Ndirande Soccer Giants vs Ekhaya Women
(FAM Women’s Regional League – Nyambadwe Ground)
The Cowgirls face a tricky away tie against Ndirande Soccer Giants. Sitting 4th, and coming off a 1–1 draw against Chitoliro, the girls will be eager to climb the table with three points against a direct rival.
2:30 PM: Nsanje United vs Ekhaya Reserves
(ThumbsUp Southern Region Football League- Nsanje Stadium)
The defending champions and current league leaders take their momentum on the road after a flying start to the second round.
Having swept past opponents in the first round, the Reserves will aim to replicate that dominance against the Lower Shire side.
