Ahead of the final match of the TNM Super League season, the coach shared his thoughts on preparations, expectations, team news, and a message to the supporters as the team looks to finish the campaign on a strong note.
On preparations for the match…
“We are well prepared for the game. The only challenge we faced was the bad weather today. The boys could not train because the training ground was water-logged, so there was no way we could complete our final session. However, from Monday to Thursday, the boys were fully geared up and worked very hard. We are now looking forward to the last game of the season.”
On the importance of the fixture…
“The stakes tomorrow are clear. We just have to go there and wrap up the season. Winning will be a bonus for us. Finishing in the Top 8 will be a big advantage because it allows us to start the league earlier next season. The Airtel Top 8 will also help us prepare better for the new campaign. We need to go there with strength, courage, and belief to win the game.”
