Ekhaya FC is pleased to announce the signing of striker Sholigah Stambuli from Blue Eagles on a three-year contract.
The 20-year-old forward joins The Cowboys after an impressive rise through the ranks at the Area 30-based side.
Stambuli began his journey with the Blue Eagles reserves in 2023, where he enjoyed a prolific season, netting a staggering 32 goals. His outstanding performances earned him promotion to the senior team, where he went on to establish himself as one of the most promising young strikers in the league.
Despite spending much of last season sidelined due to injury, Stambuli’s quality and potential remained clear, making him a key target for the club.
“I have been dreaming about this for a long time. I like their style of play and I am very grateful to join this team.” The young central forward said after completing the move.
Stambuli becomes the third player to join Ekhaya FC from Blue Eagles, following the arrivals of Levie Mnyenyembe and Joshua Waka in the previous transfer window.
Ekhaya FC, who finished 7th in their debut season, are currently in pre-season as preparations continue for the upcoming 2026 campaign.
