Ekhaya FC Appoint Leonard Odipo as Technical Director
Ekhaya FC is pleased to announce the appointment of Leonard Odipo as the club’s new Technical Director on a three-year deal.
Odipo, 50, is a CAF-licensed coach and holds the KNVB (Dutch) Advanced Coaching Certificate. He has coached several Kenyan top-flight and second-tier teams, including most recently Mathare United FC, bringing valuable experience in both senior and youth football.
He has also worked with the Kenya U15, U17, and U20 national teams, guiding the U15 side to a second runners-up finish at the 2023 CAF African Schools Championship.
Beyond team coaching, Odipo is a CAF-accredited Coach Educator and has been involved with the Football Kenya Federation, contributing to coach education programs. He has also served as a member of the Technical Study Group.
His honours include winning the SuperSport Top 8 Cup and Community Shield Cup with Tusker FC in 2014.
Odipo now joins Ekhaya FC to support the club’s technical direction, development structures, and overall football strategy.
