The stage is set for another exciting chapter in The Cowboys’ journey, with the Main Team, Reserves, Ekhaya Women and the Youth side all preparing for important assignments.
From a remarkable first visit to Chitowe Stadium to the start of a new campaign for Ekhaya Women, there is plenty to look forward to as the Cowboys continue their pursuit of success across all fronts.
Every match presents a new challenge, every competition brings a fresh opportunity, and every team has a mission to accomplish. Here’s what lies ahead for the club!
MAIN TEAM | A FIRST VISIT TO CHITOWE
The Cowboys are heading into unfamiliar territory as they prepare to make their maiden visit to Chitowe Stadium, where they will lock horns with Mafco FC in their next assignment.
With confidence growing and momentum beginning to build, Ekhaya will be eager to make their trip count as they seek to register three victories in their last four matches.

The challenge, however, will be far from straightforward. Facing Mafco FC away from home will require discipline, concentration and a strong collective effort from The Cowboys, who will be determined to deliver a performance worthy of their ambitions on Sunday afternoon.
RESERVES | ANOTHER BATTLE WITH IMMIGRATION FC
The Reserves will be back in action next Sunday afternoon when they travel to Chilomoni to face Immigration FC in a fixture that promises another interesting test for Russell Mwafulirwa’s side.
The two sides are no strangers to each other, having already met in the first round at Mpira Stadium, where we delivered an impressive performance to claim a convincing 3-0 victory in a match Yusuf Namtunga, Kenneth Mwale, and Hastings Malinda were on on the scoresheet.
That result will undoubtedly provide encouragement heading into the return fixture, but the Cowboys know they must be ready for a different challenge away from home.

Immigration FC will be keen to respond to their first-round defeat, meaning Ekhaya will need to approach the encounter with the right mentality, maintain their discipline and take their chances when they come.
The Reserves have a benchmark to build on, and the mission now is to reproduce that winning spirit on the road.
WOMEN’S TEAM | THE WAIT IS FINALLY OVER
The Cowgirls are ready to begin their journey in the 2026 FAM Women’s League, opening their campaign with a home encounter against Bangwe All Stars at Mpira Stadium.
With kick-off scheduled for 10:00 AM, Ekhaya Women are set to put themselves into a real test against the Bangwe All Stars in what promises to be an exciting start to the new season.
A new campaign brings renewed ambition, fresh challenges and an opportunity to set the tone for the months ahead. For the Patricia Makwakwa’s name the opening fixture offers a chance to make a positive first impression and begin their league journey on the right note.

However, Bangwe All Stars will also arrive with their own ambitions, setting the stage for a competitive encounter between two sides eager to get their campaigns underway.
YOUTH TEAM | THE UNBEATEN DREAM CONTINUES
While the senior sides prepare for their respective challenges, the Ekhaya Youth Team has its own mission firmly in sight. The youngsters will face Rams FC next Sunday morning as they look to continue their impressive run of form and keep their hopes of finishing the first round unbeaten alive.
It has been an encouraging spell for the young Cowboys, whose performances have given them an opportunity to pursue a special achievement. Now, the focus shifts to the next challenge and the importance of maintaining their standards.

An unbeaten first round would be a significant statement from the youngsters, but achieving that target will require consistency, hard work and the ability to handle the pressure that comes with protecting a strong record.
Rams FC will stand between our juniors and another important step towards that objective, meaning they must be ready to compete from the opening whistle.
THE BIG PICTURE | SUPER SUNDAY FOR EKHAYA
Four teams. Four different challenges. One club united by a shared ambition.
The Main Team will be looking to make their first visit to Chitowe Stadium a memorable one as they chase another positive result against Mafco FC.
The Reserves will aim to repeat their first-round success against Immigration FC when the two sides meet again at Chilomoni.
The Cowgirls will finally get their 2026 FAM Women’s League campaign underway, with Bangwe All Stars providing the opposition in their opening home fixture at Mpira Stadium.
Meanwhile, the Youth Team will continue their pursuit of an unbeaten first round when they take on Rams FC next Sunday at Mpira Stadium.
Each team has a different task, but the objective remains the same: compete with pride, represent the badge and continue pushing Ekhaya Football Club forward. The road ahead will demand commitment, courage and consistency, but the Ekhaya family has plenty to look forward to.
