Ekhaya FC continues to make a strong statement in player development, with four of its youngsters earning call-ups to the Malawi Under-23 National Team ahead of the 2027 AFCON qualifiers.
Defenders Happy Mphepo, Joseph Saiwa, and Hermas Masinja have been named in the squad, alongside midfielder Levie Mnyenyembe, as the young Flames prepare for a crucial two-legged tie against Eswatini. The first leg is scheduled for 28th September in Eswatini, with the return leg set for 6th October.
The quartet is expected to join the national teaamp this coming Thursday as preparations intensify for the important fixtures.
This latest development further underlines Ekhaya FC’s growing influence on the national stage. It comes shortly after the club contributed an impressive 14 players to the Malawi Under-20 national team, a clear reflection of the club’s commitment to nurturing talent and building for the future.
