EKHAYA FC CONFIRM PADAMBO AS NEW GOALKEEPERS’ COACH

Ekhaya FC have appointed Sibusiso Padambo as the club’s new Goalkeepers’ Coach on a two-year deal, adding another experienced figure to the technical setup as The Cowboys strengthen their push for the ongoing campaign.

Padambo’s arrival becomes the latest statement from Ekhaya FC in the mid-season transfer window, with the club continuing to reinforce key areas of the team. The Cowboys have already assembled a strong goalkeeping unit, and the addition of Padambo brings another layer of expertise and experience to the department.

A back-to-back TNM Super League winner with Silver Strikers during his playing days, Padambo enjoyed an accomplished career between the posts before transitioning into coaching.

It was in coaching, however, that he continued to make his mark with Silver Strikers. During his time with the Lilongwe-based side, he helped guide the club to the inaugural FDH Bank Cup and two Airtel Top 8 titles, further establishing his credentials as a coach.

Padambo also brings recent international experience to Ekhaya FC. He was part of the Malawi Scorchers technical setup that finished runners-up at the 2026 WAFCON, adding another significant achievement to an already decorated coaching career.

His appointment is expected to further strengthen the development of Ekhaya FC’s goalkeepers while contributing to the club’s broader defensive ambitions.

With the campaign entering a crucial phase, The Cowboys believe Padambo’s experience, winning mentality and technical expertise will prove valuable as the club pursues its objectives.

Welcome to Ekhaya FC, Coach Padambo.
